Pam Down, who died in March 2023, was matriarch of Spittle Farm for many decades - in conjunction with former History Society chairman Geoff Keegan, she compiled this document celebrating the history of the Down family and Spittle Farm. The flipbook and pdf versions are below. Also below, a gallery of the still images from the booklet, and one of the invoices reproduced in it. These include interesting documents such as exemption from war duty for employees, and receipts for tractors, several of which are still working today! You can also hear her son John talking about his parents (Pam and Norman) and the more recent life of Spittle by following this link.
